We interviewed Debra about her experience in the industry, with Panoply, and Elleebana, and here's what she said:

"I’ve been in the industry for 25 years, I’m a licensed Master Cosmetologist in North Dakota. I don’t know when I decided this would be my career path, I kind of always knew. The majority of my clients are color clients with a healthy dose of men’s grooming thrown in - I have a knack for beard trims. However, brows and lashes are quickly filling my books! I’m also a master nail technician, but I haven’t done nails in salon for some time. 

"I really stumbled into Panoply/Elleebana within the last few months. A friend and client was so determined that I was going to henna her brows that she bought a starter kit. I was instantly hooked, but knew I needed to be certified to really be able to offer the best service possible for my guests. I signed up for a hands-on course with Anastasia Hoff in May of 2021.

"While I was experimenting with henna I was becoming more and more curious about brow and lash lamination, so I ordered the Profusion kit and signed up for the lash lamination course being offered the day after the henna course. I completed my certification for brow lamination online. Both the hands-on and online courses were excellent, and Anastasia has a gift for building confidence in her trainees - I’m very lucky to have had her as a teacher!

"This industry is very fast paced and constantly changing, I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in the services I offer, and am constantly amazed at the talent I see in our industry every day.  When I started working the only way to keep up with upcoming trends was in industry magazines or by going to shows. You really only saw stylists who worked for product companies or enormous salons. Social media has really changed the game, we have a universe of resources, connections, inspiration, and education in our hands 24/7, and a ton of it is free. I love watching fellow professionals growing their careers in innovative ways all while making the world a more beautiful place for everyone. My ‘why’ has always been and always will be sharing the beauty I see in my guests with them. You don’t love your hair, brows, lashes? I do. Let me show you how.

"In five years I hope to be in other salons training professionals in brow and lash services and continuing to show my own guests just how beautiful they are, inside and out."

We love how Debra has taken her 25 years of beauty industry talent and transformed it into a new passion in brows and lashes! She is a true testimony to Elleebana training courses and the investment payoff. We love to watch her continue to learn and grow!
