Alabama trainer: Donna Yonta
We love our Elleebana Alabama trainer, Donna Yonta! As a lash lift, lash & brow lamination, and henna educator, Donna inspires us to learn as much as we can!
We interviewed Donna about her industry experience as well as her experience with the Panoply Beauty team and Elleebana. Here's what she said:
"The beauty industry has always been a deep interest of mine, and this interest turned into passion about 12 years ago as I transitioned out of the corporate world and earned my Aesthetician license while living in Florida. My passion for beauty, skin care, and beauty have propelled me to become an educator to share my passion training other skin care professionals in the industry’s best practices. I am licensed as an Aesthetic Educator in Tennessee and Alabama. I have taught Aesthetics at various schools in Tennessee and implemented a new Aesthetic program in one of those schools.
"Given the expansion and competition within the beauty industry, I realized that my students needed a broader learning experience that they would be able to build a competitive resume to compete within the job market. I began my search for marketable skills and products to provide my students additional tools and skills they could add to their services and choice of practice specialty. This is when I discovered Elleebana. I was impressed with their history, vision, and commitment to providing professional quality products. It was Elleebana’s focus on excellent service that also caught my attention and resonated with me. This is when I realized that I wanted to be a part of the Elleebana brand and provide this opportunity to my students.
"Soon, I entered the Elleebana certification program and became a trainer in 2017. Since then, I have trained numerous other beauty professionals. What I love about being a trainer is sharing my passion for the profession, inspiring student growth and creativity, to have their own vision of success, and to achieve their professional goals.
"In 2018 I attended the Elleevation Symposium and met Otto and Zoe. My first impression was that Otto and Zoe really care about their trainers as much as they care about their products. At this symposium I also met Kelly Rhode, who was “the icing on the cake” when it comes to caring people. We’re not only professional colleagues but friends, she has always been willing to give her advice and professional tips. I have learned a lot from her. I could not have been happier when she became my master trainer. Kelly, who is the owner of Panoply Beauty, is fantastic, she is well informed and is diligent about keeping us informed and up to date on products and procedure protocols.
"In 2019 I relocated to Alabama, and opened a service-education center in Madison, Alabama. Currently, I am enjoying the ability to fully focus on post graduate education in my local and surrounding area."
