Troubleshooting Lash Lifts
Why did my lift turn out like this....?
There are many different factors to consider here when asking this question.
TECHNIQUE-
Did you cleanse the lashes thoroughly?
Did you use the correct rod/shield size for the desired outcome?
Did you position it correctly along the lash line?
How does your lash wrap look?
Are you lifting the lashes straight up and separating?
Did you use a lot of adhesive?
What does your lotion application and consistency look like?
Is your lotion nearly to the base of the lashes (1mm from root)
How far up and neatly did you apply the lotion?
Is your lotion a milky, white consistency?
Did you use correct processing times? (Times that best suit the clients lash health and density)
Did you remove the products thoroughly per Elleebana protocol?
PRODUCT-
Is your product stored properly?
Did you check the Expiration date?
Did you use the lotions in the correct order?
Is your treatment room too hot or cold, effecting your process times?
CLIENT-
Is your client using any new medication that would effect her hair/skin?
Is your client going though any hormonal changes?
Do you know your clients aftercare?
Do you know their skincare routine and daily cleansing products?
Does your client sleep on their face or side?
PLEASE remember to take images of your work. No matter If you’ve been doing lifts for 10 years or 10 days.
This is going to ALWAYS help in our ability to troubleshoot.
Take process pics-
Before
Lashes wrapped
Lotions on
After
Clear, straight on images where we can see the clients waterline.
Can we see where your clients lotions start and end? Or are they at an angle where it looks tucked away under a lash pad?
Keeps these things in mind when reaching out for help!
And PLEASE continue to ask if you need the support.
